5 Tips For Planning The Perfect Wedding

Weddings

23 Dec

When it comes to planning your wedding, it’s essential to get your hands on as much information as possible ahead of time. The more that you know, the less likely you are to find yourself on your big day wishing you had only done things differently.

The truth is that planning a wedding isn’t as easy as you might think; however, it doesn’t have to be that complicated either. By learning the right tips and applying the right planning methods, you’ll make sure that you have everything under control up until the big day.

If you’re planning a wedding in the near future, then take a look at some of the best tips out there for planning the most important day of your life.

Your Guest Count Should Determine Your Venue

One of the biggest mistakes that couples make when planning their big day is choosing a venue before receiving their final guest count. However, before you settle on where you’re going to have your wedding, you should know how many people you need to accommodate.

There’s nothing as stressful as realizing at the last minute that your venue can’t hold the amount of people that you invited. Conversely, you could find yourself spending a considerable amount of money on a large venue that wasn’t necessary in the end.

Hire a Photographer

The list of wedding expenses can quickly start to make your head turn, and you likely want to cut all costs possible. Many people assume that they can eliminate the cost of a professional wedding photographer and get by with their own cameras and cell phones; however, this isn’t the case.

Your relatives and friends will be busy enjoying the wedding and mingling. You can’t rely on them to get every special moment. However, when you have a photographer whose sole responsibility is to capture every precious moment, then you’ll be much happier with the result.

The quality and content of your photos will be much higher, and you’ll have professional-grade memories of your big day.

DIY Your Catering

While a professional photographer may not be the best thing to cut from your budget, a professional caterer certainly is. You can cut thousands off of your wedding budget by making your own food. The truth is some of the best food is likely made by your own relatives anyway. Don’t be afraid to ask your relatives if they can make food for your wedding as a gift.

Don’t Rush

There’s no need to plan a wedding in six months under extreme stress. Don’t be afraid to take your time. Plan a wedding during a time when it’s the most realistic for your lifestyle. The idea is to have a fun celebration that you’ll enjoy! Less stress is the way to go!
