7: Get Lots of Rest
It is tempting to do everything you can to stay in shape, but your body also needs rest. It needs rest to repair the injured part of your body, so make sure you give it plenty of that. Don’t beat yourself up about spending a day in bed or barely walking for a few days – if your body tells you that it needs it, then it needs it. Remember – you can always get back in shape at a later date, but pushing yourself too hard while you are injured will push that time back.
