Nothing feels more like true love than the sight of leaves dying off in the seasonal change. If you enjoy the romantic sight of seasonal color change, not having to worry about how long online traffic school takes and snow gently caressing the ground, then you must be a fall and winter wedding hunter.

During the drive to the wedding venue, if your fiancé doesn’t become romanticized by the seasons, then the skills you learned in your defensive driving course will do the job. But nothing will kill the wedding mood more than an expensive bill at the end.

There’s plenty of unknown, affordable Fall & Winter Wedding Locations. Breaking the budget is a myth. With the right location and the right timing, you can plan a breathtaking wedding that will make people think you spent thousands. Here’s a list of a few favorite wedding venue locations around New York state.

The Barn at Headwaters

If you want a classic barn wedding, then look no further than the Barn at Headwaters. Barn weddings are still in fad, and they don’t look like they’re ending anytime soon. This venue won’t leave you broke for the honeymoon and will help you find true love in the heat of the transitional season. This 3,000 square foot property has rustic, historical appearances and a large dance floor for those square dancer fanatics.

Hunter Mountain

Hunter Mountain offers more than resorts and hiking. They have the perfect location for a Fall or Winter wedding. They were even awarded the 2018 Couples’ Choice Award for their wedding venue and location. Nothing is more romantic than being whisked away by one of the resorts’ chairlifts.

Timber Lake Camp

Timber Lake Retreat Center is the perfect location for a Fall wedding. Known as one of the most beautiful summer camp properties in the county, this location only looks better in the Fall. After having the ceremony by the lake, your guests can celebrate indoors with special catering. Then, they can camp underneath the stars in one of the property’s cozy cabins.

Plattekill Mountain

If you’ve ever wanted to be wedded while overlooking the Catskills Mountains, then the Plattekill Mountain Wedding location is your number one choice. This rustic and chic venue will offer the best of the mountain range for your best day. This affordable location has a variety of wedding packages that won’t break your budget. You can even take the honeymoon at the nearby resort.

Belltower Venue

Hudson Valley offers a variety of affordable wedding locations. The first one is the Belltower Venue. This romantic tower doesn’t just describe the feeling you get from looking at it, but the style of architecture. This artistic location offers a regal feeling with economic satisfaction.

The View on the Hudson

Ever wanted to get married in a ballroom?

The View on the Hudson will offer an affordable ballroom wedding. This beautiful room is perfect for a Winter ceremony. While being wedded, you also find out why it’s called The View on the Hudson.

Turning Stone Resort and Casino

When all other options fail, know that you can still book a wedding venue at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino. They offer an opened field and plaza that will allow you to hold the perfect amount of people. If the price of the wedding is still too much, you can try winning back the money you spent over a game of blackjack or slots. If you play your cards right, you can make money off this wedding.
