A Romantic Night in: 6 Fun Ideas

Lifestyle

5 Feb

Date nights don’t need to cost your whole wallet and involve traveling – sometimes, the most romantic evening takes place inside the comfort of your home. If you and your partner are planning a romantic night in, then here are six ideas you are sure to love.

1: A Movie Marathon

Why only watch one movie when you can watch multiple? The great part about a movie marathon is you both get a say in what you watch, so you don’t have to compromise your favorite action movie for their comedy flick.

Make it special by getting a bottle of wine, lighting some candles, and bringing plenty of snacks to accompany you through the movies.

2: Surprise Cooking

Cooking for your partner is always a treat, but what about surprise cooking? Instead of planning out the meal together, let one of you spend the afternoon in the kitchen cooking up a grand dish to surprise the other when it comes to dinner time.

If you both want a go in the kitchen, then create time slots to work on your delicious dishes. Then, once everything is prepared, you can surprise each other with interesting food!

3: A Board Game Night

Enjoy an old family favorite night by getting out the board games and competing with each other. If you decide to play multiple, you could even keep a scoreboard! Some of the best board games for two include:

  • Scrabble
  • Mastermind
  • Forbidden Island
  • Guess Who?

Just don’t get too upset when their score trumps yours!

4: Pampering

Enjoy a relaxing evening in by getting out the candles, essential oils, and face masks. Both take the time to work on the other by applying skincare treatments and offering massages. To be extra romantic, run a bubble bath for two and pour two glasses of wine! Once your pampering is complete, keep the relaxing feeling going by using CBD from www.vapecbdworld.com and chilling out – you’ll feel all your troubles melt away.

5: Work on a Piece of Art

Get creative with each other by working on a piece of art together, even if neither of you is artistically inclined! There are hundreds of cool ideas online for art, including string painting and candle making, so you can simply follow tutorials and see what comes out.

Working together is a cute romantic activity, or you could work independently and surprise your other half once you’ve finished. The best part is you’ll have a piece of art to remember the night forever.

6: Camp in the Living Room

Feel like kids once more by bringing pillows and the duvet into the living room, creating a fort, and letting yourselves sleep downstairs. It’ll feel just like a childhood sleepover! Play games, watch TV, and eat lots of snacks until you fall asleep in your make-shift tent, and simply enjoy the time spent together.

By having a fun and exciting inside date, you will prove that romance is far from dead. These kinds of memories are the ones you remember forever, so remember to cherish the time.
