Destinations & Honeymoons

3 Nov

A southeast Asian nation, Thailand is renowned for its tropical beaches, ancient ruins, Royal palaces and stunning ornate temples which display the figures and statues of Buddha. The old and the new meets here in an interesting coexistence where the ultra-modern city of Bangkok rises next to quiet and small canal-side villages as well as next to the ancient temples of Wat Pho, Wat Arun and such. Bangkok is a city for everybody- from backpackers to tourists and everyone in between finding something enjoyable to do here.

If you too want a share of the fun then fly through the numerous international and domestic airports of the nation, although Bangkok’s international airport called Suvarnabhumi is said to be the cheapest one in the country to fly into. If you know reliable sites then getting Thailand package from UAE or Australia, Ireland and such won’t be an issue at all; Moreover, you might get some amazing tour offers.

Here’s what you can do there to enjoy yourself:

Go Skydiving

If you are looking up towards the sky and thinking of fun then we have some good news for you. We can’t make you Superman, but we sure can ensure that you can steal yourself to an experienced and licensed jump master and be able to jump off a plane for an unforgettable adventure.

Flight of the Gibbon

There are very few things which can grab eyeballs like the Chiang Mai Flight of the Gibbon. This outdoor thrill involves more than six kilometers of the zip line that rushes through the steep trees of a rainforest. This amazing outdoor trip is sure to give you an adrenaline rush apart from allowing you to see some less seen animals like the Gibbon.

Enjoy street food

An absolute feast will be visible to you once you hit the streets- from papaya salads to grilled meats and everything in between, it’s all here. One thing is guaranteed, all of it will tickle your taste buds. Thailand street food is well worth the visit.

Eat bugs

You might scrunch your face upon hearing this, but at the very least, even if you don’t enjoy the taste- it will make for an interesting story when you get home. Also, when in a new place, try to get along with the local culture, you will end up enjoying a lot more then.

Climb Sathorn Tower

Getting to the top of this tower is a challenge even if you keep yourself fit. But once you take in the arduous journey and climb up hundreds of steps, you will get to experience a picturesque view of this country’s sprawled and bustling capital.

Enjoy Ayutthaya

Jotted down as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1991, Ayutthaya is a must visit the site and its historic temples and magnificent ruins like the Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the Wat Phra Mahathat.

Thailand is a dream destination, simply because here people get to enjoy themselves no matter the budget. With mouth-watering food and a thriving nightlife, Thailand is a place not to be missed. And always remember to be prepared for your travels.
