Best Wedding Venues for Nature-Loving Couples

Destinations & Honeymoons

24 Sep

If you and your fiancé are very much into nature, then why not dedicate your upcoming wedding to it? Doing so will likely make your special day even more magical than it is already set to be!

You can dedicate your big day to the great outdoors by hosting it in a place that is surrounded by the most amazing of natural wonders — fear not, if such a venue cannot be found on your doorstep, then you’ll certainly be able to find one if you spread your search worldwide. There are areas that play the perfect host for nature-inspired weddings to be found all across the globe, and choosing any one of them as the destination for yours could be the best decision you ever make. A number of these venues can be found below.

Cork, Munster, Ireland

Ireland, especially the most southernly-western areas of it, might not strike you as being a perfect place to get married in for nature lovers, but it is. The diverse waters found near Cork are a hotbed for whales and dolphins, meaning couples that love nature, particularly marine nature, will be able to enjoy the wedding of their dreams here — although, as you’d be in Ireland and near the Atlantic Ocean, you’d be likely to get a bit wet!

From the end of summer right up until the end of the year, whales use this part of the Atlantic as a feeding ground, and this only makes the emerald isle an even more popular place for nature-loving couples to get married in. West Cork is home to dolphins throughout the whole of the year, too, meaning boat trips that head off from this part of Ireland are never anything short of amazing.

There are a number of places that offer you the chance to have an idyllic wedding celebration by the sea in this part of the world, the best being the Inchydoney Island Lodge.

Karijini National Park, WA, Australia

If getting married in the midst of the true, natural and untouched beauty of Australia, without having to get your hands too dirty, seems perfect to you, then head to the Karijini Eco Retreat. Situated in the National Park of the same name, which itself can found in the stunning heart of the Pilbara region, this retreat is full of deluxe eco tents that are surrounded by the red earth, scraggly trees and winding river gorges that make Australia, well, Australia! So, both you and your guests would be very much close to nature if you chose this as your wedding venue.

St. George, Utah, US

If you really want to go off the grid when it comes to your wedding, then why not have it revolve a true camping experience? If you decide that this is the direction you want to go in with your big day, then make sure to consider camping St George Utah. In this part of the world, both you and your guests will be able to unplug from society and really indulge in the some of the best and most untouched nature that the US has to offer — head to the St. George Area Tourism Office to find more information on why having your wedding here could be the best option for you.

If you’re looking to make your big day as nature-inspired as it can be, then make sure to consider hosting it any one of the wedding venues found above.
