This wedding on Style Me Pretty comes all the way from Australia, but I am just absolutely in love with this bride’s dress! It is full, but not poofy; glamorous, but not sparkly; dramatic, but not overwhelming. Of course we are in love with the mismatched bridesmaids dresses. That is definitely a trend that I forsee to stick around for a long time! A great element of this wedding is the DIY feel- I especially love those large letters {see below!} They are large and in charge. So fun! And you can definitely recreate them yourself.

Create Your Perfect Event with a Tent

What is more gorgeous than a Texas sunset? Couples who plan an outdoor spring or summer wedding in Texas often are spoiled by the beautiful backdrop of oranges, pinks, and purples of the Texas sky. Finding an outdoor venue in Texas is easy, but finding a tent that compliments the space sometimes proves to be a bit of a challenge. Some of the most amazing wedding tents can be found at these DFW vendors: Big D Party Rental, Live Wire Special Events, and M&M Special Events Company. Each of these companies carries multiple tent sizes, catering to any wedding size. Not completely sold on the idea of a tent wedding just yet? Here’s some inspiration….

This is one of my favorite ideas for a tent wedding. They used an old parachute!! How creative! It gives the traditional idea of a tent a fresh, fun twist…not to mention how ELEGANT it makes the space look! I adore this look.

This couple created a romantic, warm, elegant reception area by adding florals, chandeliers, colored lighting, and colored linens. Chandeliers hanging from the tent have become more and more popular. I have to say, it is one of my favorite trends! Chandeliers remind me of jewelry, and no outfit is complete without jewelry… just like no space is complete without a chandelier. It adds a feminine finishing touch to the space!

These two tent creations show how versatile a tent can be! On the left side, the couple chose a clear tent which allowed for the greenery and sunlight to shine through. On the right side, the couple opted for a cozier, more intimate setting by choosing darker colors and choosing to enclose their tent with walls. Both of these couples chose to drape fabrics on the ceilings. This is a perfect way to add pops of color and create a more finished look.

I believe that every outdoor wedding needs a tent. Texas weather is unpredictable, so it is nice to have a tent large enough to hold the ceremony or reception if Mother Nature gives you an unexpected wedding gift. Plus, a tent gives you a BLANK canvas! As a couple, you had complete control over the decor and theme of the tent because here are no limits when it comes to decorating a tent.

Outdoor Candlelight Tent Wedding

Danielle and Jake’s wedding is, in essence, a fabulous dinner party. This New York wedding has so many great elements that can be recreated here in the South. This wedding caught my eye because of the simple DIY elements. Don’t miss the votive-covered lawn. You can have your own candlelight lawn with votives from the Dollar Store and inexpensive candles. Easy, huh? A tent is great for an outdoor wedding, and the chandeliers create a romantic and intimate setting. Those centerpieces can be recreated as well- just get clear vases and fill them with flower stems. All of these are a fabulous DIY project for your family and bridal party. Destination Weddings- Gorgeous and Romantic Tuscany Wedding

I don’t think you could get more glamorous than a destination wedding in Tuscany. This wedding had every feature of a laid-back, vintage, shabby chic wedding that would fit in right here in Texas. But it’s glorified in Tuscany. The photos from SugarLove Weddings showcase just how beautiul this bride is. Her statement necklace and glittery gold shoes just light up that smile on her face. And that ball gown looks oh so perfect in front of a backdrop of vineyards. I think the best part of this wedding is just how intimate it feels, especially underneath that tent!
