Hues You’ll Heart: Pretty Pastels

I absolutely love the idea of a soft, whimsical, feminine color palette for a wedding. Pastels give you just that! Pastels are so pretty and so fun to play with! They can be mixed very easily, which gives you a lot of leeway when designing your wedding decor. With baby blues, precious pinks, and gentle greens, you can create a breathtaking color palette. Pastels can be incorporated in table settings, dinnerware, bridesmaid dresses, flowers, cakes, and so much more! I am drooling over the idea of an outdoor wedding filled with pretty pastels! So what are you waiting for? Get planning your perfect pastel affair!

Peach & Lilac Wedding in Coronado

Have you ever been to the little island of Coronado? It is a special place that has a strong sense of community. One of my dearest friends is from the island and I have spent many vacations lounged on the deck of the Del & riding tandem bikes along the seawalk. This Coronado wedding is so carefree and fun- it feels exactly like Coronado! I love the color palette and many, many  DIY elements. The bride created everything herself and it flows so smoothly. Don’t you just want to join their party? coronado_rustic_pink_lavender_wedding

Enchanted Forest Ceremony & Elegant Garden Reception in California

Everything about this wedding makes me feel sweet and sugary. From the romantic dress with cap sleeves and glitzy lace to the soft invitations with just a hint of a lilac print. You can recreate this garden party with a flapper-style wedding dress and bejewled shoes; mismatched bridesmaid dresses in the softest pearly-blue color; and a breathtaking setting beneath a canopy of trees. The reception is simple with long tables, and large candles as centerpieces set atop a soft, lace table runner. This couple got married at a private residence in Calistoga, California and was photographed by Greg Slick.

Napa Valley Wedding with a Stunning Vera Wang Gown

I’m just drooling over this dress. It is perfectly romantic and the bride looks absolutely ethereal! With mismatched china, soft pastel flowers, and a dapper groom in a gray suit, this wedding has all of the soft elements of spring. You can recreate this Napa Wedding with a garden setting, long table seating, burlap table runners, simple flower arrangements, some delicious catering, fun adult beverages, and joyful guests. Easy enough, huh? Okay I won’t hold your attention any longer… take a look at this lovely, lovely wedding!
