Mason Jars for Rustic Wedding Party Favors

Rustic touches are a must with any southern wedding. One option is the use of mason jars. My favorite way to utilize these versatile objects is as party favors for guests. You can put anything in them, but I love the idea of putting a piece of the bride’s or groom’s cake in them, prefilled before the cutting of the cake.  You can use colorful twine to attach a small plastic or metal spoon around the jar and decorate the lid with burlap or another fun fabric. Attach a custom tag or sticker with a description of the jar’s contents and a message from the bride and groom. These favors are simple, affordable, and fun that any age can enjoy.
