Love is in the Hollywood air indeed! Based on the sizable bling, we’d say the rumors of this young Hollywood couple have been confirmed. Miley Cyrus is engaged! The 19-year-old singer and Disney starlet sent shockwaves through the press early yesterday morning when she confirmed to People Magazine that she and 22-year-old boyfriend Liam Helmsworth (aka Gale for all the Hunger Games fans) are set to tie-the-knot! Ms. Cyrus first lit the gossip fire a few months back when she rocked a “rock” on her left hand. This new bling however is a completely different piece of jewelry and the real deal. According to Neil Lane (jewelry designer), Miley’s ring is a “3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. And the center stone is extra special: it’s an antique dating back to the late 19th century.”Lane told The Huffington Post regarding Cyrus’ ring: “In designing a ring I always bring my design aesthetics to the table while working with the clients’ vision. It’s always a collaboration. The antique diamond is from my collection. I love using these kinds of stones in my work creating contemporary designs with a vintage feel.”
