Mint has been on the wedding radar for a while now, and pink has always been a wedding staple, but when these two colors are paired together it is beautiful wedding overload! I love pastels in my clothes, art, on my nails, and I could go on, so it’s no surprise I love this pastel palette! I love pastel palettes because they are not overpowering or distracting, and they add a simple touch of elegance to weddings without trying too hard. Pale pink and mint do just that as a wedding palette; they create a delicate palette, yet it doesn’t seem too feminine. Clearly I love these colors together, but what’s your opinion- are you as sold as I am on pastels?

Mint & Tangerine Shoot by Elisabeth Carol Photography
Inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year Tangerine Tango, Dallas photographer Elisabeth Carol & coordinator Britni Ramsey created a gorgoues shoot that paired the hot ornage with mint. To spice up the fun factor, Elisabeth & Britni had a vintage theme with retro glam twist. Can you believe that the glitter dipped mason jars are a DIY product? The duo also made ribbon table runner, Lindor truffle favors, and cake stand! That gorgeous bridal gown with empire waist detailing comes from Zhenyuan Wedding, hair and makeup is byKrista Cook, floral designer Jill Garcia is responsible for the gorgeous blooms, and the rentals are courtesy of Burleson Antique Mall.

Hues You’ll Heart: Mint
Everywhere I look this year, one thing is for sure – mint is in! This great color is absolutely beautiful for spring and summer weddings, especially if they’re outdoors. From invitations to bridesmaids dresses, mint looks fabulous as part of your color palette. Not only is it refreshing and elegant, but it can be paired with so many colors that will complement it perfectly. Personally, I’m loving the mint and gold hues. If gold isn’t really your thing though, try combining mint with a light peach or ivory. These classy colors give a great vintage vibe, but definitely look modern and crisp, too!
Mint- The “it” color for Spring!
From mint juleps, to mint nail polish, to a mint cake- you can cast everything in the sweetest minty-green light at your wedding! It is fresh, sweet and subtle. Using this color in everything will be calming and classic. The underwhelming vibe is an excellent way to tie together your jewelry, and your cake stands. Go crazy with mint this spring!
