Periwinkle is a sweet color that is not quite lavender or purple. It’s a perfect shade in between. This soft color adds a feminine and delicate touch to any wedding. I love when periwinkle is paired with white, like the white peonies and white baby breath shown below. This pretty periwinkle palette is great for any spring wedding!

Hues You’ll Heart: Lavender and Sage
Lavender and Sage… what a calming palette! Could two color ideas smell any better? I don’t think so! Lavender and sage create a beautiful and subdue wedding that is perfect for any season. I love the lavender bouquet as an alternative to a floral bouquet, and I also love lavender used as boutonnieres. The pale sage green is a great pair because it doesn’t overpower the lavender; it just adds to it! I love this relaxing color palette, that just so happens to look beautiful and smell wonderful!

Hues You’ll Heart: Violet Talk
Violet, lavender, Orchid, lilac, mauve, plum- there are literally hundreds of shades of purple! So many shades that look fabulous when paired together! With so many shades of one color, it’s challenging to choose just one shade; luckily these purple hues can be paired together to create gorgeous palettes. Mismatched purple bridesmaid’s dresses look gorgeous when standing in line, and even better with bouquets made of different purple flowers. Purple is also a great palette to choose because it works for every season. In spring or summer add more bright violets, but in fall or winter add deeper purple hues, and you’ve got a perfect, season appropriate wedding! Whenever you choose to use it and however you plan to use it, there are definitely plenty of options for a perfect purple wedding!
Hues You’ll Heart: Lavender
Not only does lavender smell delicious, it can also be a lovely wedding color! It’s so neutral, yet has a shade of purple and still manages to be a very subtle color. I love the idea of having bridesmaids carry lavender bouquets instead of the traditional bouquet. I also love the sprig of lavender in the champagne cocktails- yum! And if you are lucky enough that your wedding is near a lavender field, then you MUST take a picture in that field like the bride shown below! Overall, lavender is beautiful color that can be used in any season, and help you create a subtle, yet lovely wedding… plus, you get to smell the lavender all day!

Hues You’ll Heart: Lavender
With spring and summer come beautiful pastel color palettes and a hot hue this season is lavender. I’m personally loving this fresh look – it’s absolutely stunning for an outdoor wedding! The best part about featuring lavender as one of your wedding colors is its versatility. Not only is the color itself gorgeous, but you can incorporate fragrant lavender flowers as well. Whether you use them in your bouquet, on your cake, or as centerpieces, they make an elegant statement that your guests will adore! Try pairing lavender with a beautiful blush, gold or silver for a sweet, summer style!
