Hues You’ll Heart: Pink Lemonade

Pink lemonade is my FAVORITE summer time drink. It is so refreshing, delicious, and just darn good to look at! That got me thinking… what about a pink lemonade inspired spring/summer wedding?! I love pinks, and I love yellows, so why not join the two and make a pink lemonade wedding. The colors compliment each other beautifully and make for a great palette. Feel free to add warm oranges, navy blues, or relaxing greens- adding a more subtle color adds personalization and balance. One of my favorite ideas to incorporate pink and yellow is seen in one of the photos below. I love the idea of a bold patterned yellow table runner with beautiful pink dishes and/or flowers. It makes for a fresh, modern, fun twist on such a traditional color palette.

Hues You’ll Heart: Pretty Pastels

I absolutely love the idea of a soft, whimsical, feminine color palette for a wedding. Pastels give you just that! Pastels are so pretty and so fun to play with! They can be mixed very easily, which gives you a lot of leeway when designing your wedding decor. With baby blues, precious pinks, and gentle greens, you can create a breathtaking color palette. Pastels can be incorporated in table settings, dinnerware, bridesmaid dresses, flowers, cakes, and so much more! I am drooling over the idea of an outdoor wedding filled with pretty pastels! Hues You’ll Heart: Plum and Gold

Here’s a new set of Hues You’ll Heart, plum and gold. Shades plum and gold are a juicy color combination that would be just perfect for fall. Beautiful plum and berry purples mixed with a few white flowers and lambs ear create a stunning floral grouping for bouquets and boutonnieres. The place settings are quite elegant with the plum placemat and white china with gold trimming. The use of old bottles for the flowers and guinea fowl feathers add a vintage vibe to the table scape. Also using gold calligraphy on the plum paper for the menu is truly gorgeous and really stands out. And with colors this delicious you most definitely should have a cocktail hour table with berries, champagne and of course some fancy cheeses. The cocktail hour décor is as appetizing as it is visual pleasing. It’s really not that hard to fall in love with the plum and gold hues in this wedding color inspiration shoot.
