Last Thursday evening I was able to attend the De Ma Fille Bridal Boutique’s open house with fellow Society Bride bloggers, Morgan and Kirstin, in Fort Worth. At this open house, owner Megan Galloway had many beautiful wedding gowns and bridal accessories on display for guests to peruse. If I hadn’t already found my gown I would have been super tempted to play dress up myself!
Galloway hosted this celebration in recognition of her recent ownership of the business. She wanted to give those in the Fort Worth community an opportunity to see her precious boutique and get to know the services offered through De Ma Fille.
De Ma Fille is located at 2964 Park Hill Drive in Fort Worth, TX near the Texas Christian University campus.
Thank you Megan for letting us at Society Bride celebrate De Ma Fille with you! It was a pleasure meeting you and seeing the beautiful gowns available to brides!
Pink, Gold & Orange has become a favorite color theme in the wedding world! This color palette follows the fashion trend of color-blocking and can be easily achieved at your wedding. The citrus colors are toned down by the strong gold and everything looks glamorous. My inspiration comes from a DIY American Apparel coral clutch that was dipped in gold paint.
Wedding invitations can set the theme for your wedding. An e-mail RSVP lets your guests know that the wedding is casual, while a ten piece wedding invitation and mail-RSVP sets a dignified tone. Continue the pink, gold, and orange theme at your bridal showers and bachelorette parties. Pink cookies with your new monogram are the perfect snack! If your reception venue is simple, then keep your bridesmaids in your citrus colors! Pair this orange and pink dress with gold heels.
Pink, Gold, and Orange can be continued in flowers and table decorations. If the citrus is too bold for you, use greenery and pale pink flowers along with diamond brooches to tone the color theme down. Gold chargers are a necessary table accessory and can be used with white china and pink linens. Pink and orange flowers complete the look. The citrus color theme is vibrant against a white backdrop. Good luck recreating this look brides!
The best way to remember your dream day is through a photographer and videographer. While photographers are considered a necessity, videographers are sometimes forgotten. Brides, do not let priceless moments be lost! The Wedding Party Studio considers videographers a must for the perfect wedding.
Hakim Sons Films have proven themselves to be one of the best videographers in the business. Their motto is to combine experience and romance. Every film they produce is exactly that. Expecting nothing less than perfection, we strongly support Hakim Sons Films. This month, Hakim Sons Films is featuring the wedding of Jessica and Dale. The combination of a broadcast journalist and an acclaimed producer is pure excellence! Take a look for yourself, readers!
Hakim Sons Films is also known for catering to extravagance. When Anita and Ajesh married, Hakim Sons Films created a concept trailer for their invitations and used six cinematographers and nine cameras to capture the day!
Based in Mckinney, Tx, The Preppy Thread has become a go-to for personalized gifts. They feature everything from makeup bags to towel wraps to linens. Here are a few of our favorites!
The first photo above is the “Bath Robe.” Your ‘Maids will love to get ready for your big day in this, and they can use it at home for years to come! Every time they put it on your favorite girls will be reminded of your big day. The second photo is the “Boyfriend Shirt.” Another piece that is perfect for getting ready in! It can be easily slipped off and you won’t have to worry about smudged makeup or a crazy up-do!
Another great gift for your ‘Maids is a makeup bag! Featured here are the waffle-cloth bags and the oilcloth bags. You can customize any color, any ribbon, and any initials or words. A great way for your ‘Maids to remember your big day is to add your wedding date on the other side of the bag!
Finally, a fun and useful way to celebrate your big day is these linen cocktail napkins! Much easier to carry around then a coaster, these cocktail napkins are a unique gift that your ‘Maids will love to have in their home! Include a cocktail napkin with the date of your wedding day and that can be your designated napkin whenever you visit!
