The fun trend of reception lounges popped up in 2012 and is now making big appearances in 2013! I have to admit, I am in love love love with this trend. Adding a little reception lounge a few steps from the dance floor gives guests the ability to kick up their feet, relax, and mingle. It doesn’t matter if your reception is indoors or outdoors, modern or eclectic, day or night- a reception lounge gives your reception a little something extra that I promise your guests will be oohing and ahing over! Make the lounge swanky and cool by adding candles, curtains, and little personal touches. Hey, you could even turn the lounge into a cigar bar, wine tasting, or a little bites stop! Put a posh touch on your reception by adding the ever so chic reception lounge!

We all know how fun Las Vegas is. But imagine meeting your hubby there? It almost can’t be done! But alas, beautiful Lesli meet her groom Brett while vacationing with her family. Lucky girl! After their chance meeting, Lesli and Bret married at the Gaylord Texan Resort outside of Fort Worth. It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the metroplex, and the large compound is perfect to house your guests, and hold your ceremony and reception without feeling overwhelmed! Or worried that your crazy Uncle will be lurking around every corner. For her bridal look, Lesli wore a pair of white Christian Louboutin’s that Brett bought for her on a trip to- you named it- Las Vegas! There is so much good in this wedding that it had to be split into two parts. Consider it a happy Friday for all! This West Texas wedding was built by hand by the Bride’s family. Literally, built from the ground up and every single element was antiqued. The Bride grew up in West Texas and created a destination for all of her guests. Thankfully, the West isn’t too far from the couple’s college town- Fort Worth! Aric + Casey have become one of Society Bride’s favorite West Texas photographers! They are based out of Lubbock- which is why their photos are set in some of the most beautiful fields. I love me some West Texas scenery, y’all! Melody and Clinton are a beautiful couple and obviously so in love. As you can see, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Clinton is dedicated to his future bride- even driving his Dad’s ’57 Chevy around with no A.C.! I can’t wait to see how beautiful their wedding will be. Intimate Fort Worth Wedding with a Reata Rooftop Reception

We all know planning a wedding is stressful- but try planning your nuptials in Cowtown when you live in Canada! Thankfully this couple chose the sweetest town in the South (okay, okay I might be biased..) Casey and Wojtek kept their wedding small & intimate- they married at the Cathedral Guadalupe and celebrated at Fort Worth’s favorite Reata Restaurant rooftop!

Casey has some wonderful vendors, y’all- after visiting only once she trusted them to pull everything together! Her dress is from Patsy’s Bridal in Dallas and her gorgeous flowers were designed by Bryna of Dr. Delphinium in Dallas. Her arrangements included white and blush garden roses, miniature roses and dahlias, blush snow berries, white hydrangeas, dusty miller and brunia berries. Swoon!
