This Mexico destination wedding is no exception! I love this bride’s look, especially with that beautiful headpiece, and ankle bracelet. It’s the perfect touch of glamour for her empire waist wedding gown. Just a few close friends and family attended the affair, creating a relaxed and subdued vibe. But since it’s Mexico, we know they had the time of their lives.

When Alea of Alea Lovely Fine Art Photographer + Film Maker posted a hypothetical question on Facebook about her idea’s for a romantic elopement she never expected her friends to jump at the chance. Josh & Kelsey had no plans, expect for the desire for an intimate moment between friends and family. Josh is a fan of making furniture, so he built the altar they stood at and the table they ate at. So romantic and personal! The handmade plates and simple decor were part of the southwest theme that the Texan couple created in destination Phoenix. An elopement isn’t the right choice for many brides, but for those who choose to keep things simple, personal, and intimate the choice is perfect. Charleston Wedding with Touches of Peach

This Charleston wedding inspires me to scrap every wedding idea in my head and plan a pacific coast destination wedding. A destination wedding does not have to entail a trip across the ocean to a foreign country with a language you don’t understand- it can be a trip to the other side of America! I consider this to be a “nation-station wedding” What do you think of that? But in all seriousness, this Charleston wedding by Charlotte Elizabeth brings me back in time to a true Southern event- dripping in flowers, romance, and my mama’s favorite phrases! A lot of this wedding was created by the bride & family- including a gorgeous Swarovski crystal bridal comb that was designed by the Bride’s mom. Additionally, the bride designed the posters & tote bags and created them in a silkscreen studio in Manhattan.

Destination Tuesday

I’ve always dreamed of a waterfront wedding in Masachusetts. Crisp greenery, the soft smell of sea water, and perfectly nautical decor. The cape is beachy and all-american. It can be the perfect destination wedding spot, because your guests won’t have to leave the country to find a vacation. This wedding from Style Me Pretty keeps the nautical, all-american vibe through an all-white wedding party. I think it is the perfect spring wedding! The couple was married at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club and photographed by Eric Laurtis. P.S. You might have a minor meltdown over the bride’s Oscar de la Renta gown. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Destination Tuesday- Napa Valley Beauty

Vineyards create one of the most beautiful backdrops and Napa Valley is the king of vineyards. This Tuesday wedding is set in The Carneros Inn Wedding. Everything is so romantic, beautiful, and simple. I just can’t get over it. I really love the crispness of the green and white color combination and it is beautifully accented by a rich purple.
