Don’t let this beautiful light fool you- it is a sunrise, not a sunset! Those early morning hours bring the best light and it is so worth a 5 am wake up call! Kristen Dee captured this couple at one of Dallas’ most beautiful settings, White Rock Lake. We’ve featured an engagement shoot here before, so for everyone looking for a fabulous outdoor venue in Dallas- check out the ones surrounding White Rock Lake!
I am love love loving this bridal portrait session from R&K Photography. The natural light, swoon. That dress with the deconstructed train, swoon. The gorgeous venue with the urban aesthetic, swoon. In my opinion, this is one of the best bridal portraits I have recently seen. A simple style that showcases the bride. The juxtaposition of a romantic dress, in an urban venue. It’s perfect! Plus that antique green hydrangea matches those beautiful drapes perfectly!
A perfectly styled bride-to-be with a gorgeous smile, and a downright adorable groom are the best ingredients for an engagement session- but with their funky clothes, and homage to the Mother of the Bride this couple found complete success. It doesn’t hurt that they choose Two Blue Shoes Photography, a Dallas favorite, to capture every moment. The bride started out in print-on-print outfit, changed into a sassy sequin number she found at Goodwill, and ended the day in her mother’s prom dress from the 1970′s! They picked perfect Dallas venues, especially the city’s favorite White Rock Lake!
We all know how fun Las Vegas is. But imagine meeting your hubby there? It almost can’t be done! But alas, beautiful Lesli meet her groom Brett while vacationing with her family. Lucky girl! After their chance meeting, Lesli and Bret married at the Gaylord Texan Resort outside of Fort Worth. It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the metroplex, and the large compound is perfect to house your guests, and hold your ceremony and reception without feeling overwhelmed! Or worried that your crazy Uncle will be lurking around every corner. For her bridal look, Lesli wore a pair of white Christian Louboutin’s that Brett bought for her on a trip to- you named it- Las Vegas! Cindy & Saylor I Photographers are responsible for the lovely images- my favorites are the bridal shots of Lesli! Which ones do you like?
Does anyone else think that Christina Carroll Photography gives us the most beautiful bridals ever? Her images always have the most perfect touch of light- especially the photo with the giant doors & light shining in! Swoon. Of course these were shot at the amazing Camp Lucy outside of Austin. Seriously, y’all, my new favorite venue. Every single wedding there is the best! Not to be outdone by her setting- Aimee’s dress is perfect for a Texan bride. Scalloped edges, lace overlays, sweetheart neckline and a sparkly belt!
