Tradition says that seeing each other before the ceremony is bad luck. Some couples today are making compromises and exceptions to this tradition, and I think it’s a great way to get the best photos with your photographer before the wedding craziness! With the pressure of wedding pictures–coordinating families, wedding parties, and friends–after the ceremony, things can get a little overwhelming and pictures of the new couple can often be rushed. Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding by Riverland Studios

Plantation Weddings, set on the steps of an old Civil War-era home, have captured my heart. Remember this gorgeous Southern wedding by La Cosa Bella Events? I still can’t get it out of my head!
