Hello dear readers! I want to share a sneak peek of one of my favorite weddings this year. I met the incredible Jill Mashburn when she floated into Cebolla. She is a firecracker, and I am so lucky that I have gotten the chance to work with her. In case you don’t know who Jill is- she is the founder and owner of Common Grounds in Waco. With her entrepreneurial spirit, and incredible vision, we put together a one-of-a-kind wedding affair. Here is a sneak peek of her bridal bouquet that we created at Cebolla Fine Flowers of Dallas! • Researching Wedding, Fashion, Lifestyle Blogs & Magazines for inspiration and fresh blog content
• Blogging Projects encompassing everything from Real Weddings, to Wedding Pros, Hot-Off-The-Runway Fashion, Wedding Destinations/Honeymoons, and Beauty Must-Haves
• Occasionally attend wedding industry networking events and/or bridal/fashion shows
• Social media engagement
• Must meet all publishing deadlines

Creative and design/style conscious
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Independent, self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
Posses excellent time management, multitasking and organization skills
Ability to work remotely, without supervision
Professionalism and integrity are a must
Socially savvy with Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
Familiarity with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator a plus
Wedding & Event experience a plus
This internship is unpaid so students seeking school credit are preferred – but not required

Wild About Wildflowers

Oh there is just something about wild flowers that makes my heart melt. I don’t know if it’s the bold combination of colors or the way that they are so imperfectly perfect when bunched together, but what I do know is that I LOVE wildflowers– especially at a wedding. Wild flowers are whimsical, dreamy, organic, and just plain pretty to look at! I love the endless amounts of possibilities of combinations with wildflowers. You can either go with bright colors or muted colors, more blooms or more greens, tall or short, full or light and airy, etc. If you haven’t decided on your floral arrangements for a spring or summer wedding, check out wildflowers…. but be careful… you’ll fall in love!

Planning a summer wedding? Don’t know which direction to go? Well, what better way than to just embrace all things summer?! Bright colors, luscious florals, lemonade, mason jars, bold patterns… ahhh why can’t it be summer year-round? For a cheery, relaxing summer affair, embrace the pinks, purples, blues, oranges, and greens. Go for a variety of florals and place them in mason jars. Look for a bold patterned table runner. Serve yummy iced drinks to keep your guests cool and comfortable. If I could give you ONE piece of advice for a summer “themed” wedding: choose things that make you smile! What better way to celebrate the biggest day of your life than with happy, bright, cheerful things around you!

I’ve got such a great, fun trend to share with you today… marbleized details! This is such a cool trend that I think might stay around for quite some time. Marbleized wedding decor is a great option for all those artsy, modern, eclectic brides out there! I love how whimsical these details are. They are AWESOME on vases, linens, paper, and BRIDESMAID DRESSES! I love love love the idea of a marbleized bridesmaid dress! How fun and different is that?! Marbleized wedding details are great for a light, fresh spring or summer affair. So, if you are looking to add some unique, fun details, look no further… add some marble-inspired decor and you will have your guests talking about your wedding for years to come.

In my opinion, nothing says summer like green and yellow! Bright and vibrant colors are the epitome of summer sunshine! I personally love yellow and green as a wedding palette because there are so many options. Either pale yellow and green to a create a subtle and sweet wedding or bright yellows and greens for a lively and energetic wedding. Using greens and yellows is also a great way to incorporate fruit as decor... lemons and limes are just too cute together! There are so many options with this palette and it is sure to create the ultimate lively summer wedding!

Dress Your Man in Tan

With summer coming and warm weather approaching it just doesn’t make sense for your man to be wearing a dark suit! And for those outdoor weddings- talk about hot! That’s why I love seeing grooms and groomsmen in tan suits. It’s clean and crisp and fitting with the warm weather. Wearing tan suits also allows your man to get a little creative with his wedding attire. How cute are these grooms in their tan suits?
