Hill Country Wedding at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs

This is a wedding full of rustic chic goodies! This bride is decked out in glitz and put a cotton boutinerre on her groom, I think I found some more inspiration for Madi’s wedding! There is some amazing florals at this wedding, surrounded by lace, mason jars, and burlap! And don’t even miss that beautiful engagement ring. The ceremony and the reception were at the Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs and came together after two completely different ideas- small and cozy for the bride, huge party for the groom! Mondays with Madi : “Romantic meets Rustic” Reception Inspiration

Happy Monday y’all!

Recently my mom and I had a consultation with a florist in Kansas City and it was so fun to put together our ideas for arrangements, my bouquet, boutonnieres, etc! I am anxious to receive our estimate so that we can move forward!

We are opting for arrangements full of soft romantic whites, raw cotton, succulents, magnolias and garden roses. I really hope to create some Southern warmth in our mid-winter celebration with details such as the cotton bolls, mason jars and candlelight!

I am so excited to see how all of these elements will come together! As you may have noticed, we aren’t using too many bold colors in our arrangements. I’m thinking the pureness of whites and the natural/rustic feel is much more fitting for dear BRS and myself!

Spring Wedding with Bright Florals and Pops of Color

This Arizona wedding is DIY friendly with bright colors and floral elements. There are so many things about this wedding that are deliciously southern. My favorites include the groom’s blue seersucker suit and the bridesmaids Lily Pulitzer-esque dresses! Some of the many Do-It-Yourself elements in this wedding are the heart-shaped programs, the boutinerres and the oversized poms hanging from the chairs. Even the reception can be recreated with mirrored trays and simple flowers. Outdoor Candlelight Tent Wedding

Danielle and Jake’s wedding is, in essence, a fabulous dinner party. This New York wedding has so many great elements that can be recreated here in the South. This wedding caught my eye because of the simple DIY elements. Don’t miss the votive-covered lawn. You can have your own candlelight lawn with votives from the Dollar Store and inexpensive candles. Easy, huh? A tent is great for an outdoor wedding, and the chandeliers create a romantic and intimate setting. Those centerpieces can be recreated as well- just get clear vases and fill them with flower stems. All of these are a fabulous DIY project for your family and bridal party.
