Golds, Silvers, & Bronzes…Oh My!

Metallics are popping up everywhere, and trend forecasters are projecting that metallics are going to be a huge wedding trend in 2012! How much fun! I love nothing more than to dazzle up something with a little hint of metallic. In the coming months of 2012, we are going to see metallic cakes, metallic shoes, metallic bridesmaid dresses, metallic details on the wedding gown, metallic decor, and even metallic bow ties and ties. I have to admit, I think this trend is going to be such a great addition to the wedding world. Who doesn’t love shiny?! I am drooling thinking about all the possibilities of a metallic wedding!

Modern Bride in a Blush Pink Vera Wang Gown

This is a glamourous bride after my own heart. We Heart Photography brings us a modern bride that put her own spin on her wedding- in a perfectly pink gown! This Vera Wang organza gown looks very sleek when paired with a dapper groom in gray. Although gutsy, a pink wedding gown is unexpected and beautiful. When choosing a gown that isn’t “bridal white” it is important to focus on the other features that make this perfect for a wedding. This Vera Wang gown is defined by the beautiful organza- it is so romantic! I really enjoy the color pairing of the light pink with the dark pink and red bouquet. Thank you Style Me Pretty for this beautiful wedding!

Fort Worth Wedding by Amanda Marie Portraits

Happy Friday! Let’s celebrate this day with a wedding from Amanda Marie Portraits! Y’all know how much we love sweet Amanda. Coming to you today is the union of Corey & Michelle. This TCU couple was married in Fort Worth on St. Patrick’s day! Michelle and her ladies got ready in a true FW fashion- with cowhide chairs! Now that is my kind of girl. The couple was married at the University Christian Church- a breathtaking Spanish style church that is across the street from TCU. It’s a church I drove by every day during my days as a Horned Frog.

From there, the beautiful wedding party traveled in style {drinks and all!} to the purple reception at the Ridglea Country Club. This is a true Fort Worth wedding- don’t miss all of the great TCU purple details, y’all!
