This is probably no surprise, but my entire house is decked out in toile. I don’t know how it happened, but it’s been that way since I was a little girl. I’m drawn to the classic print because of it’s versability in both whimsical and traditional settings. Blue and White Toile is gorgeous when paired with classic white flowers, like peonies, tulips, roses, and peonies. If you want to incorporate a whimsical aesthetic, pick out blooms in varying shades accented with unique greenery. I recommend dahlias, ranunculus, poppies, & thistle. Swoon.

Rooftop Rehearsal Dinner at The Londoner Pub
Last week we published “A Sophisticated Stag Party” at The Londoner Pub - a styled event Society Bride had the privilege of producing. Today we’re thrilled to bring you Part 2 – a Rooftop Rehearsal Dinner at The Londoner Pub photographed by Amanda Marie Portraits. When The Londoner asked Morgan and myself to style a rehearsal dinner on their incredible rooftop patio to help showcase their special event offerings, we were immediately inspired by the pub’s rustic setting and urban backdrop. We decided to play up these features and “marry” them with ultra feminine, romantic detailing, and southern charm.
We were over-the-moon to have Cebolla Flowers design our flower arrangements for our styled dinner. A lush boxwood garland draped down the table, with Coral Charm Peony blooms tucked in. This is a great alternative to a full flower garland (which can blow your budget!) Two large arrangements designed in vintage silver bowls were set in the middle of the table. Overflowing with natural elements, these brought a rustic elegance to the table. All of my favorites were invited to the party- including Eucalyptus Pods, Queen Anne Lace, Astilbe, Poppies, Anemones, and Peonies.
Jenn Sprinkle of Jenn Sprinkle Creative designed these beautiful menus and invitations. We absolutely loved the shimmery stardream card stock! The hemstitch dotted pattern linens by La Tavola added that feminine charm we were looking to achieve with our tablescape – and this patterned china and gold rimmed glassware from Ducky Bob’s couldn’t have been more perfect for our romantic rooftop celebration.
Movida Boutique dresses our lovely bride in a Paisley Vintage party frock perfect for a rooftop dinner. Turquoise accessories also from Movida added a “something blue” and an unexpected pop of color. The brides gorgeous hair and makeup were created by Mo Bower’s and her Fairy God Mother team. She was absolutely stunning!
La Duni created their famous Quatro Leches cake with Meringue icing…La Duni’s desserts are too die for!
The Londoner’s menu ranges from traditional English dishes to your standard pub fare but they are most known for their renowned Fish & Chips. So we had them create this mouth-watering offering plus other popular dishes in hor d’oeuvre-style portions. They were as delicious as they were darling!
