Mondays were made for beautiful and unique engagement sessions. Especially this Minneapolis engagement that focused on two of the couples favorite places- The W Hotel & The Bulldog Restaurant. The groom-to-be is a high-end liquor store owner, so playing up on his profession was a must for this couple. Bernadette Pollard captured their personality in these shots. Starting off the week again with a lovely Laguna Beach engagement shoot! I have always loved the idea of a beach shoot, all of the ones that we feature are so incredibly beautiful! Since I don’t have a beach close to me here in Dallas, I do have this shoot to gaze at. But how fun would it be to pack up your sweetie, and take a quick trip to Laguna Beach? You could even work with Andy Bang and get some gorgeous beach engagements! That idea is definitely going into my “must-do” list. Happy Monday!

Featuring engagements is one of the things I love most about being a blogger in the wedding space. It’s the beginning of so many firsts. I like to think of it as a first chapter in a love story. Today’s first chapter love story introduces you to Will and Katy – who also happen to be family! When I received Katy’s Save The Date in the mail I immediately wanted to know who her photographer was and knew I had to share this Engagement Feature with my SB readers. Ashlee Ann of Ashlee Ann Photography described this shoot as playful, sweet, and relaxed. Katy’s inspiration was a blend of vintage meets casual country so Ashlee decided on Merriman House located just off the San Marcos river, followed by some time in Ramon Rucio Park.
