Hot Off The Press! Cheeky New Greeting Card Line Makes Its Debut…

Good Day SB readers! You guys are going to love meeting Read Between The Lines (RBTL), a new greeting card line that is literally hot off the presses (pun intended:)). I’m already and fan and here’s why. A) I keep our hoffice stocked with a supply of cards for every occasion. Since these are clean-lined and gender-neutral they are perfect for on-the-fly. However, on-the-fly in a effortlessly clever sort of way, wink-wink. B) These tongue-in-cheek phrases make me hap-hap-happy; and C) The paper is to die for. Paper lovers I’m talking to you now. It’s Time to Shower the Bride

All of you maid of honors or bridesmaids listen closely to make sure you throw your bride-to-be an elegant and fabulous bridal shower. You can make this event as glamorous or as simple as you like, but make sure all of the bride’s nearest and closest girlfriends and family members are in attendance! The bridal shower is the perfect way to make it as girly is you like, especially since no men are allowed (besides the groom of course)! Pink is usually the color of choice, but make it something the bride will enjoy and love! No need to decorate with extravagant decor or centerpieces, but by having beautiful pink roses, tulips or peonies will fill the tables with life. Also, I love the idea of putting mini champagne bottles by each plate. What a fun way to “spritz” up your table!

Maid of Honor Madness!

One of my very best friends recently got engaged (yay!!), and she chose me to be her maid of honor (yay again!)! Being the maid of honor is a huge honor, as well as responsibility. The MOH has many duties throughout the wedding planning process, as well as the actual wedding day. Here are some of the MOH duties: always be there for the bride, whether it’s to listen or to give dress advice, lead the bridesmaids (ie- make sure everyone has their dress, knows what is going on, provide them with the 411 on all wedding festivities), host or cohost a bridal shower, attend all prewedding parties, plan a bachelorette night, compose a toast….. and the list goes on! Basically, there is a lot of work that goes into being the MOH besides holding the bride’s bouquet during the vows! I am going to start writing about my MOH duties and how I plan to handle them. Join me on this exciting journey, and hopefully we can learn this MOH stuff along the way! In the meantime, here are some very sweet pictures of different brides and maids of honor.
