Has anyone else been noticing a cigar bar trend at the reception? It feels very Great Gatsby to me- definitely a trend that I know will be popular in the future. But for now, this a great a idea for an outdoor summer wedding with a great patio. You can even personalize cigars with the bride and groom’s initials, as well as personalize matches and cigar boxes. Make sure there are cigar cutters and a bowl for discarding the tips. The cigars and matches could also double as party favors for guests and can make one great photo-op for both the bride and groom. If you see your man bored give him a brandy and direct him to the cigars and he won’t want to leave.

The Ashton Hotel- Fort Worth Weddings

Dena and Ryan were married at the Ashton Hotel in February of 2011. Their wedding was photographed by Hiram Trillo Photography. Dena and Ryan took advantage of the full service wedding staff and held both their ceremony and reception at the hotel. Their wedding colors of gold and navy blue were complemented by feathery details. The whole affair had a 1920s theme. Gorgeous!

The Ashton Hotel also caters to intimate weddings. Their wine cellar is the perfect dinner reception for the small family-only wedding. It is also a great choice for rehearsal dinners, bachelor/bachelorette parties and wedding showers. The wine cellar holds up to 22 guests and is decorated with a gold-tin ceiling, natural stone walls, and soft lighting.
