Here comes the bride all dressed in…reds?! scarlets?! What a shocking moment that could be on your big day! Bridal Fashion Week 2012 has been nothing short of amazing. We have seen so many different styles, silhouettes, and fabrics, but one trend we didn’t see coming was red and scarlet colored wedding gowns! Vera Wang’s spring 2013 collection was a show-stopper indeed! It was full of deep red fabrics, intricate detailing, and full skirts. Vera commented on her new collection by saying, “The symbolism of red—boldly romantic, charming, protective, grand, seductive, sexy. From dahlia to scarlet, crimson and vermilion. It’s a celebration of love.” What better way to celebrate love than to wear red? It certainly would take a bride that is wanting to make a statement to walk down the aisle in a red dress. I love the idea of wearing something unusual. Afterall, it is your big day. Why not take a leap of faith and step out in a red dress? You would make jaws drop. So, what do y’all think?
