We just love weddings at The Wildwood Inn! Today’s real wedding couple Jamie and Grant selected this charming estate for their outdoor summer nuptials last June. We love all the little love bird details the bride carried throughout. The couple described their special day as charming, enchanting and cozy. One of our most favorite details from this wedding is Jamie’s beautifully, unique bouquet made of vintage broaches. We’ve all decided that if Anthropologie sold wedding bouquets they would look like this! Her cake also gorgeous, decorated with yellow floral design and pearl detail; his cake also looking yummy and dapper in an ‘all-dressed-up’ black-tie motif. And we’d like to top this wedding off with super cute aisle markers trimmed with lace…darling!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! To celebrate, today we’ve brought you some fresh wedding details in various shades of green. For couples considering a St. Patrick’s Day themed wedding (this really applies to any themed wedding) keep in mind that less is more. Consider a mojito or a beverage with a green garnish for your signature cocktail, using greenery for place card holders, distributing cards to your guests with an Irish toast, embroidering a Celtic knot on your garter or tying a Celtic charm onto the ribbon of your bouquet. There are ways of tastefully incorporating the holiday (sans the shamrocks, leprechauns and green beer) through your color-palette, invitations, music and food, but for your wedding day pick and choose which details are the most important to you.
