White Sand Beaches and A Warm Breeze – Aloha Maui!

Imagine getting married as the sun is setting or rising in a secluded cove in beautiful Maui? Nothing could possibly compare! The warm breeze, soft sand under your feet and your beloved saying their “I do’s” as the waves crash onto the shore–a thought that just gives us chills! Makena Cove, a hidden cove,  is a dream in itself with lava rocks and soft sand, any angle you look from will be a perfect picture too! Plan your wedding there either at sunrise or sunset, as that is when most incredible colors are seen in the sky and on the water. Check out Paradise Dream Weddings for more information!

We Still Like it Tall!

As the weather gets chillier, wedding hairstyles begin to get more fancy and formal, according to Mo Bowers of Fairy God Mother Bridal. Most updo’s these days require hair extensions and one of the top trends this season is the return of hair ornamentation. Large feathers, vintage brooches transformed into combs and ribbons are gracing the heads of brides around the country. And even with ornamentation, you can have more than one look–from the church to the reception brides can pull a few precise pins and instead of an updo, have a gorgeous half-up look. Bridesmaids are also transforming their look from messy into polished–still loose and sexy but no more bed head! Maybe try a pony tail or unique braid for a special look.
